About Granite Software

Granite Software has been creating custom software for Title, Escrow, and Closing Companies for over 25 years. Late in 1998, Elmer Vasquez, began his transition from his role as CIO of Settlement Services of NRT, Inc., to President of Granite Software. Elmer had previously worked on Land America’s Title Quest 2000 and saw the need for robust systems in the Title Industry. After forming Granite, Elmer began working on the early versions of iClosingsDirect, which helped power companies like Southland Title and Equity Title to become industry leaders in Southern California.

The success of Granite was apparent from the beginning, as iClosingsDirect was selected by Cendant as their national product. The company began installing at Cendant offices across the country, tailoring iClosingsDirect to the needs of each new state or region.

As the software continued expanding and adapting the latest technologies, it evolved into Genie Software. Genie was envisioned from the beginning to handle the digital transaction, incorporating tools that include paperless processing, secure communication, underwriter integrations, customer portals, and a secure, fully integrated eSign solution.

To this day, Granite has maintained their passion for creating custom software for all their customers, big and small. The partnerships, and friendships, we have formed over the decades are vital to not only our business, but also drive the values of our company.
